The management plan developed for the Meredith, Paugus, & Saunders Bay subwatershed is intended to be an action plan or road map that will enable the communities as well as individuals to achieve the goal of protecting the water quality of the Lake Winnipesaukee watershed for the long term.

The plan represents the effort of many people working together over the course of several years to review and compare local land use regulations, identify potential pollutant sources and issues, conduct land use and water quality analyses and modeling, and to then synthesize that information into recommendations that when implemented will achieve the goals identified in the plan.
